Marius Fourné
I am a PhD candidate at the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH) and Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg.
My research focuses on international trade, with a particular interest in how climate policies and globalization shape productivity, inequality, and cross-border economic activity. At the IWH, I previously contributed to economic forecasting, including work on the Joint Economic Forecast (Gemeinschaftsdiagnose), and I teach at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg.
Previously, I was a visiting researcher at the Paris School of Economics and interned at the World Trade Organization (WTO). I hold a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Trier.
I will be on the 2025-2026 Job Market.
